A full recreation built to an exceptionally high standard by GTB. An exact Ferrari GTO chassis was built as part of the process and it is a true tool room copy of an original. This an exact identical recreation built by GTB painstakingly researching and utilising our experience to produce an exceptional car.
The last of the period GTOs were 4-litre cars, and are the model for this outstanding example. The body was constructed by the late Chris Lawrence, of Wymondham Engineering, who is widely regarded as one of the best 250 GTO re-constructors in the world. The project was completed by its then owner Chris Withers of GTB Restorations. As with an original GTO, this car is equipped with polished deep dish Borranis wire wheels, 6 Weber 40DCN carburettors, Veglia gauges (newly built to GTO specification), aluminium outside fuel filler, plastic side and rear windows, Marchal head lights.
